The UFL Manager 7.1 has been released!
6.6 to 7.1 changes:
1. New feature: iUFL. iUFL is a niche tool that makes it easier to play UFL from a tablet using a remote access application such as Remote Desktop, TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc. The iUFL window is a panel with large buttons for easy tapping on a tablet. These large buttons can be programmed to call offensive/defensive plays or perform other UFL actions such as punting, kicking field goals, calling timeouts, or just sending an Enter command to advance through a window. Check out The UFL Manager Manual on the home page for more details and instructions.
2. UFL Backups made with previous versions of The UFL Manager cannot be restored by The UFL Manager 7.1. Old backups will need to be manually restored.
3. The Live Standings window now has a standard title bar.
4. Fixed an issue where the Live Standings window could not be closed by right clicking its icon in the task bar.
5. The Backup/Restore window's status text now displays only the file name instead of the full path and file name.
6. The Backup/Restore window will now always be on top as it sometimes had a tendency to fall behind other windows during a backup/restore operation.
7. Added options to reset the window positions of the Auto Sim, Live Standings, iUFL, and File Viewer windows. The corresponding window must be closed for these options to be effective. This is to correct a situation in which those windows can be lost off-screen when switching between different monitor and resolution configurations.
8. Added on option to reset the iUFL layout. iUFL must be closed for this take effect.
6.5 to 6.6 changes:
1. Fixed a bug where UFL Autosim would occasionally crash when idle.
2. Fixed a bug where UFL Autosim would occasionally display an error message when it was closed while minimized.
3. The File Viewer's file opened/saved caption will now stay in place when the window is resized.
6.4 to 6.5 changes:
1. Fixed a bug that would cause UFL Auto Sim to fail to advance to the next game if there was another program open with the window title of "UFL".
6.3 to 6.4 changes:
1. Updated the colors of all windows to match the new UFL color scheme.
2. Updated UFL Auto Sim for UFL 2.6 compatibility.
3. The "Disable UFL Change Control Button" option is now known as "Hide UFL Change Control Button" and will hide the Change Control button instead of disabling it.
4. Fixed a bug where Backup/Restore would not transfer archived .LOG or .TXT files that contained uppercase letters in their file extensions.
6.2 to 6.3 changes:
1. The Auto Sim, Live Standings, and File Viewer windows will no longer refuse to reopen if they were closed while in a minimized state.
2. The League selection dropdown menu in the UFL File Viewer has been widened to comfortably accommodate 8 characters (the maximum number of characters allowed in a UFL league file name).
3. The active league detection scheme will now properly recognize leagues whose file names begin with numbers.
6.1 to 6.2 changes:
(UFL Auto Sim Changes)
1. You can now simulate an entire regular season and postseason in one pass.
2. You no longer have to input a league name or window title. Just open UFL to the Season Game Window and that information will be detected automatically.
2. There is now a Stay On Top option that will force the UFL Auto Sim window to always remain on top of other windows.
3. There is a now a status caption that displays the simulation's progress in the form of: "Simulating Game 96 of 267...".
4. There is now a Stop Simulation button that allows you to stop the simulation at any time. Note that it is not possible to interrupt a game in progress; the simulation will stop after the current game.
5. The simulation will halt gracefully if you attempt to simulate more games than are available.
6. The Auto Sim window will no longer flash on the taskbar when a simulation has finished.
7. The Auto Sim window will no longer appear frozen when a simulation is in progress.
8. The program's window positions are now automatically saved/restored upon close/open.
(UFL Live Standings Changes)
1. There is now a Stay On Top option that will force the UFL Live Standings window to always remain on top of other windows.
2. The standard window title bar has been removed to maximize screen space, and a custom title bar has been implemented on the window's top border.
3. You may click and drag anywhere on the grey to move the window or use the buttons in the top right to minimize or close it.

5. The program's window positions are now automatically saved/restored upon close/open.
(Other Changes)
1. Clicking on run UFL, UFL Auto Sim, or UFL Live Standings when one of those programs is already running will no longer open a second instance of the program. Instead, you will be taken to the instance that is already open.
2. The UFL File Viewer's window positions are now automatically saved/restored upon close/open.
3. Error handling for the UFL Backup/Restore feature has been improved.

7. The About dialog will now update the list of leagues when it is opened instead of relying on the cached list.
6.0 to 6.1 changes:
1. Fixed a bug that would cause The UFL Manager to crash if the Options window's remove button was clicked when no file types were highlighted.
2. Fixed a bug that would cause the Backup/Restore feature to freeze if any league Archive sub-folders contained 0 files.
3. Fixed a bug that would cause UFL Auto Sim to crash if any of the input fields were accidentally left blank.
4. UFL Auto Sim will now set the focus back to the Number Of Games To Simulate textbox after a simulation has been run.
5. The UFL Auto Sim window has been redesigned.
5.3 to 6.0 changes:
1. New icon for the main program and different icons for the sub-programs to help differentiate between UFL and The UFL Manager windows.
2. Minor user interface improvements to make the program feel more like UFL.
3. New feature: UFL Auto Sim. This sub-program allows you simulate large batches of UFL games (up to a complete regular season). Full details and instructions are included in the The UFL Manager Manual.
4. New feature: UFL Live Standings. This sub-program allows you to view the standings for your active UFL league without actually running UFL. The standings are also refreshed every 15 seconds which makes this a great tool for keeping tabs on your league while simulating a batch of games.
5. The Championship Results/Rankings features have been merged into one feature called the UFL File Viewer. The UFL File Viewer utilizes predefined file types which allows you to specify names for text files that are stored your leagues' Archive sub-folders. File types for Championship Results and Championship Rankings text files have been included by default. You can add or remove file types by going to The UFL Manager's Options menu. The UFL File viewer also contains an "Other" option that allows you to open any file in the selected league's Archive sub-folder. This feature is useful for opening UFL .LOG files.
6. The Team Coaching Histories feature has been removed. You are free to create this as a file type or use the UFL File Viewer's "Other" selection if you wish to regain that feature.
7. The UFL League Manager feature has been removed because The UFL Manager now auto-detects your UFL leagues and maintains a list of them in "C:\UFL\database.dat"
8. The UFL Traveler feature has been renamed to Backup/Restore UFL Data to be more clear on what that section of the program does.
9. The Backup/Restore UFL Data feature will now backup and restore all .TXT or .LOG files that are located in your leagues' Archive sub-folders.
10. The Customize The UFL Manager feature has been renamed to Options and is now used for enabling/disabling UFL's Change Control button and specifying UFL File Viewer file definitions.
11. New feature: About The UFL Manager. This is a simple about dialog, but it will also display a list of your UFL leagues and which league is active.
12. The UFL Manager Manual is new and improved, but it is no longer distributed with the game itself. It is available online at http://ufl.no-ip.info/uflman.htm.
13. Both of the View Manual buttons have been removed because the manuals are no longer distributed with the game.
14. For more details about the new features, read the new version of The UFL Manager Manual at http://ufl.no-ip.info/uflman.htm.
