Hi all, bit quiet around here so I thought I'd try and fire up some discussion. I can't believe this forum isn't busier, I guess us old-time stat gamers are a dying breed in the PlayStation age? Still, UFL has a fan for life in me. I only wish I had found it sooner than in the 10 years since I sold my Amiga. I may never have got married.
Any indication if there will be any further updates to the game? Also, Ben, you mention on your own site that you're compiling a "requested features" list to pass on to Larry at some point - out of curiosity, what have people been asking for, other than my requests in a previous post?
Finally, a general question: How do you play? What I mean by that is, do you simply run your games, finish your season and move on? I'm wondering if I'm alone (and desperately in need of a life) in printing EVERYTHING to files, compiling stats for my team of choice, and even going as far as designing uniforms and logos for the 32 teams in my league (all fantasy teams, although a lot of the names and logos are "borrowed" from USFL, college, WFL etc.)
Sometimes I think I should have been a trainspotter...
Updates, the game, and miscellaneous

Yes, unfortunately, text-based gaming isn't as popular as it used to be. UFL has gotten several hundred downloads, but the forum doesn't get much action.
I haven't heard from Larry since shortly after we finished UFL 2.1 (At that time he mentioned working on a UFL 3.0 in 2005.) He put a lot of time and work into UFL 2.1 and he wanted a break. The only new features requested have been the posts on this board! If you would like to make a list, I would be happy to send it to him.
How do I play???? Simply put, I like to watch. I have a 32 team league based on the NFL and a 16 team league based on the NFL Europe/World League. And I just go through the seasons watching the games and watching teams battle for playoff spots. Then the next season, the teams change and I go through it all over again. I often refer to certain stats before one of my team's big games (my teams are the 49ers and the Surge!!!), but I do not print them out. But there's nothing wrong with that; that's why UFL has a "print" button. I do print out my league standings every 2 weeks of a season (week 2, 4, 6 etc.) and I also print out the championship results at the end of every season.
Have a great one, Joe!
