Thanks for the warm reception of this new version. I really hope you all enjoy the changes I made, and that you think the new version is worth using - even though the feature-growth is very limited.

I'll be looking forward a lot to hearing all your opinions on this forum!

best regards,
Björn

Hi Joe, Thanks for the heads-up! Upon further investigation, it seems I may have been wrong on the theory that the 2.2 version screws up the database persistently for injured players, so I don't think that is the reason. I can't tell from here what could be the cause, but I could take a look if you ...

There is an Alpha Candidate for the 2.3 version that I sent to Ben for compilation, it will probably show up as soon as Ben finds the time to process it. Most important changes: * Fixed bug in injury-recovery * Fixed bug in Auto-removal of injured players * Added injury visibility in Depth Chart, Su...

Hi guys, Work on version 2.3 is moving along at a somewhat slower pace than the first week, now that vacation is over and I got a new job, but I thought it would be interesting for you to know how things are going: Done: * Make injuries (and their quarters remaining) visible in Depth Chart, and Play...

Thanks! It's a good thing I asked, since my ideas were obviously quite different :P The game engine is currently designed to display short notifications of what is happening in a play as it is executed, and only keep track of critical events, such as accumulated statistics and scoring. I'll see what...

Hi there, Regarding the "Play-by-play" logs function, could you explain a bit more what it is actually you would like to be able to do? My impression is that you would like a command, e.g "PLAY" that would be similar to "STAT", but instead of statistics for the game, di...

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. I guess the function would be used for handling "off-game" events if the coach has that in scope for his UFL enjoyment. Something like a) Miraculous recovery - Reduce remaining quarters by 50%, or b) Mental breakdown due to pressure, add 8 Quarters of inju...

Thanks Ben, I'll try not to make a mess of the code. You know what they say, it's easier to write code than to read and understand it. Still, I always get a strange kick out of reading and trying to understand someone else's code, almost like decrypting some ancient civilization. Hey - maybe I shoul...

re: sharing of code

Hi guys, I guess I am the guy Killington has been referring to as his "programming muscles" :) I wouldn't call myself an expert VB developer, even if I have had some past experience with it, but I can find my way around the project workspace and take it from there... I have got to say this...
